The Black Heart Procession
Desperately lonely characters inhabit the Weill-meets-Waits world of The Black Heart Procession. They are the emotionally exhausted figures that might be found on the fringes of a circus camp or perhaps cleaning up some provincial cathedral in a time of plague, the constant drones of a dirge-like ballad echoing into the courtyard.
