New York, NY (July 20, 2006) On Saturday, July 15, 2006 the 6th Annual Village Voice SIREN MUSIC FESTIVAL™ at Coney Island solidified its status as a leading outdoor indie-rock festival by again drawing over 150,000 music fans throughout the day to the annual free event with its impressive lineup.

SCISSOR SISTERS, SHE WANTS REVENGE, STARS, ART BRUT, THE STILLS, TAPES 'N TAPES, THE CRIBS, SERENA MANEESH, CELEBRATION, DIRTY ON PURPOSE, MAN MAN, THE ROGERS SISTERS, DEADBOY & THE ELEPHANTMEN, PRIESTESS AND THE MISSHAPES DJS DJs drew fans from all over the country to the two outdoor stages located on West 10th Street and Stillwell Avenue in historic Coney Island.

The Village Voice independently produces the Village Voice SIREN MUSIC FESTIVAL™ and this year's festival sponsors included Budweiser, Tower Records, Sam Ash, Zig Zag Live, Oasys Mobile, Gibson Guitars, Astroland Amusement Park, emusic and Tribeca Grand Hotel.
