New York, NY (June 24, 2003) The Village Voice, the nation's largest weekly newspaper, is excited to announce the final line-up for the Village Voice 3rd Annual SIREN MUSIC FESTIVAL at Coney Island on Saturday, July 19th, 2003 from 12:00 noon - 9:00 p.m.
The third installment of this free, all-day, all-ages music festival will feature Modest Mouse, Idlewild, The Datsuns, Hot Hot Heat, Sahara Hotnights, Radio 4, Ted Leo/Pharmacists, !!!, The Kills, Northern State, The Dirtbombs, The Pattern, Oneida, and The Witnesses performing live on two outdoor stages throughout the Coney Island amusement park. In addition to this year's line-up of international, national, and local bands, DJs will be performing in between band sets throughout the day.
Each year, the Village Voice SIREN MUSIC FESTIVAL has drawn record crowds of more than 50,000 throughout the day, and established itself as a leader in showcasing indie rock veterans and emerging artists.
