New York, NY (April 30, 2003) The Village Voice, the nation's largest weekly newspaper, is excited to announce the initial line-up for the Village Voice 3rd Annual SIREN MUSIC FESTIVAL at Coney Island on Saturday, July 19th, 2003 from 12:00 noon - 9:00 p.m. Scheduled performers include Modest Mouse, Hot Hot Heat, Sahara Hotnights, !!!, The Kills, Radio 4, Ted Leo/Pharmacists, Northern State, The Pattern plus many more to be announced.
This
free, all-day, all-ages music festival will feature live international, national, local bands and DJs performing throughout the Coney Island amusement park on two outdoor stages. Each year, the Village Voice
SIREN MUSIC FESTIVAL has drawn record crowds of more than 50,000 throughout the day, and established itself as a leader in showcasing indie rock veterans and emerging artists.
